Nick Quinn
Of British, French and Irish nationality, Nick Quinn is a film director based in France, and a graduate of La Fémis, the French national film school.
Since graduating, Nick has directed award-winning short films, documentaries and commercials. His documentaries — made mainly for ARTE France — are portrait-based films that mix humour and emotion in a unique manner to celebrate the lives of ordinary people. His short films are fierce comedies.
La Fleur De L'Age, Nick's first feature, stars French screen legend Jean-Pierre Marielle (Da Vinci Code), Pierre Arditi (Smoking/No Smoking) and up-and-coming French comic Julie Ferrier (Heartbreaker) in one of her first straight roles. The cast also features Audrey Fleurot (Untouchables), Artus de Penguern (Amélie) and Radivoje Bukvic (A Good Day to Die Hard). Released in 2013, it was produced by Gloria Films, Les Productions du Trésor & Mars Films.
His new feature documentary, Beyond Measure, is produced by Raoul Films & C'est What Studio, with the support of the Région Île-de-France and Brouillon d'un Rêve from the SCAM.
